How do you break-up with the perfect guy?
Ophelia’s a catch. Despite her unfounded insecurities, she’s attractive, witty, and pragmatic. She wants a relationship, not a fling. Is finding a guy who is good looking, respectful, intelligent, funny, family oriented, great at board games, loves books, and has a minimum 700 credit score too much to ask?
Major’s a paradox. He doesn’t have a full time job, but he’s a worker. He never went to college, but he got a perfect score on the English section of the SAT. He doesn’t drink, but tends bar a few nights a week. And he’s so handsome women are quick to overlook the fact that he still lives with his mom. When Major introduces himself to Ophelia as Laertes, it’s on.
The more time Ophelia spends with Major, the more she realizes he checks a lot of boxes. Except one. One really big one. How do you break up with someone who makes you laugh, blush, tingle, giggle, sigh, and whose mom makes the best french toast you’ve ever had?
The Break-Up Coach is a hilariously unique take on a romantic comedy with as many laughs as plot twists and a heartwarming ending you won’t see coming.

AP, a high school administrator, grammar nerd, and novelty t-shirt aficionado, has a problem. When he heads to San Diego for an educator’s conference, he is expecting a weekend of professional growth and networking. But when Coop, a teacher at AP’s high school who just so happens to also be his best friend, tags along, the itinerary receives a slight tweak.
It’s another example of AP’s career goal (to become the youngest superintendent in his district) clashing with his allegiance to the best friend who always had his back. It’s also how an assistant principal and a high school history teacher end up in Tijuana's red light district at dawn. Not everything that happens in Tijuana stays in Tijuana. Sometimes it follows you home.
Sex, Lies, and High School Principals is an irreverent comedy about decision making, accountability, and why you should never lie to your wife.

My Story
Charles Welde is a humor writer who has been making people laugh since grade school. He first got noticed for his humor when he wrote a rather crass short story in sixth grade about a promiscuous squirrel who fell in love with one of his classmates. The story was "noticed" by a school administrator resulting in a suspension.
Charles' next big break came in 10th grade when he won an essay contest which was judged by legendary TV producer Chuck Lorre. As a result, Charles was invited to spend the day with the writers of the hit show "Roseanne". He's wanted to be a comedy writer ever since.
After he graduated from the University of Oklahoma, Charles started working as a Production Assistant in Hollywood. During that time he optioned two movie scripts. Over the years Charles has been a ghost writer for stand-up comics and has been published in numerous magazines. In 2018 Charles started his YouTube channel, Bixbie Media, to showcase comedy and news satire.
Charles' second book The Break-Up Coach was released in July 2024.
